The American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Scientific Congress and Expo just concluded this year’s annual education conference.

Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy (PGT-A)

It seems all the buzz the field of reproductive medicine currently centers around PGT-A. Does PGT-A improve IVF outcomes? Does it reduce pregnancy loss rates? What about mosaicism? Tackling the issue head-on, our medical science liaison, genetic counselor Jenna Miller, participated in an interactive panel discussion reviewing the utility of PGT-A in the prevention of pregnancy loss.

In addition, two of our Genomics Experts, Dr. Mark Hughes and Mike Large, Ph.D., participated in the session “PGT Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow”, discussing the beginnings of PGT, where we are now, including the reporting of mosaicism in PGT-A, and where the field is going.
